and it ended up turning into a 100% completion that I was doing from pure memory

did it in one setting, about 4 hours, whereas a speedrun would be roughly 2hrs on avg?

so I feel like that's a decent comparison because I didn't know the proper route or anything but I was executing pretty much flawlessly

Main thing in SoR1 is that being at the edge of the screen resets your position, if you're in a grab, it doesn't let go of the grab either.

The first boss can be killed entirely like that, this one has a mook so you gotta get in the damage you can then just plane shift him to death and nuke him with the car.

O&S are squarely like midgame in DS1

and are a necessary progression bottleneck

and just are the first REAL SHIT fight in the series for most I think

like once you "get" them it's not too bad, but for a new player it's like what the fuck
