We have two bases because there is one group of players called the Janitors that never log out. They are a clan of 3 - 4 people probably in the high 30s. The reason for two bases is if one gets Yog Bombed we aren't set back. We are also going to setup a 3rd base. Currently the base that Hindered linked is our raid base.

We are on the way to fire pots there a re lots of raidable ground bases that are made of t2 stuff. Only three tribes have steel and we are one of them. We need thralls, levels, and when you get to the base look through the organized chests / crafting stations and find out whats low

We are currently living out of the raid base and not the main base

it depends on how proactive the devs are about marking out npc camps

the raid base is going to eventually be a spawn point for something

on top of the fact your stairs probably are in that yog camps radius already

I didn't make any pots because not all goons are pro raiders and most likely waste them blowing up stupid shit.

Old base still isn't secure. A few of us went by yesterday to check on things. The mesa to the south and the west have new bases. They might be raidable. Ran into players from the southern base who had steel weaps and heavy armor. They sucked at PVP but still managed to swarm Barb (nothing of value was lost). Barb spotted them sneaking into our old base by hopping up the cliff slope from the side of the dead city. In other words we would need to rush in with lots of pre-fab building parts to secure it.

We started up a small outpost on the north eastern side of the old base's mesa (not reachable from our old base though). Best idea would probably be to raid first from the outpost (bed and shit there).

You'll need to build stairs to get to our outpost

Also both the new bases to the south and west have loads of thralls they've been farming from city so we need to plan for that and bring bow & arrows/shields.

They built up their base right next to a green wall. The entrance stairs are RIGHT next to it and as I demonstrate make it very easy to invite deadly mistakes.

I've walled off the east, north, and the northeast has been walled off. Unfortunately the land to the east, the desert approach and the mesa across from our base/temple to the east as well is salted with foundations. I've gotten what I can reach but there are clearly hidden foundations

the claim lasts until wipe, but the mesa is still salted with hard to reach stuff. if you want we can take a trident and boost into reach of those two hard to reach ones that are a big pain in the ass

Clutch with 33 strength does 100 damage with ancient kopesh per swing, if you aren't wearing armor or have points spent in agility.

however, when wearing heavy armor and 15 agility points, it drops his damage down to 60.

when I took off my helmet, removing 20 points of armor, his damage went up to 66.

so it seems like every 3 points of armor you remove 1 point of damage, we didnt' do a lot of testing but yea, more armor seems important

We have good news and bad news.

The bad news is that the an early version of the upcoming decay system was accidentally patched into the live version of the game. This should not have happened and we apologise for the inconvenieces we know this has caused for a lot of players.

We're releasing a hotfix patch very soon to update the game and server settings. This will stop further decay from taking place.

If you're running a private you can roll back to a previous game.db file from before yesterday's patch to restore your progress after the hotfix.

The good news is that we now know that the decay system works. More information about the decay system will be revealed in an upcoming community update. The system itself will be fully implemented into the game in an upcoming patch.

Best way to farm spider cave is in light armor, stone sword and wooden shield. All gear breaks fast in there due to rocks, but all the above can be repaired with mats out in the world (hides, wood, stone). Otherwise you're hoofing it back to base too often for leather/iron bars.

I've got us a lesser wheel of pain SW of the pirate ship. Nothing in there but that, campfire, and a dancer.

Found a set archpriest today. She's been broken & stashed in raid base vault. Grab yourself a setite ritual knife and harvest hearts whenever you find yourself making corpses so we can get the altar up to tier III.

Fastest way to level once you've hit 38 is by crafting explosive barrels for 7,200 XP. Make one, place it (carefully) and then dismantle it. Rinse & repeat for fast (and boring) XP gains. The only mat which gets used up is tar so grab hides/bark whenever you think about it. Once you're 38 you can find the mats for this in the vault.

One more thing. We've got a set of heavy armor. Don't wear it out and about. Wait for a buddy to come online and we'll glitch it onto you so you never lose it. (you put on armor, log off and then buddy removes the armor from your body. when you log back in you'll have perma-heavy armor)

i took all the important shit out of the vault and lost it when i took it out with me

ok, the vault in NW rock base was destroyed somehow. Nothing else in the base was lost. The small shack on the outside that we used to put stuff in the vault is gone too. I'm not sure if someone godded the vault but I was logged out right beside it and I was not killed.(edited)
