I feel like Rejd has the right idea as far as robot design
Fast upright robot that can do damage and move away to recover quickly
We have faced a lot of flying and crawling things but they have low health and aren't hard to take down if you can aim

you get three days of premium when you start playing, too
which just accellerates your acquisition of shekels
all items can be bought with the regular ingame currency thing now, so no premium locked stuff or w/e
and yeah building is just like minecraft
place blocks to make mech. done.
Although you can get pretty spergy with it if you try making ablative armor due to the way damage mechanics work
and if you don't wanna build your own stuff you can just go spend your money in the "factory"
(ingame money)
which is kind of like the steam workshop for bots
people can upload their own creation
and get 10% of the price if someone ends up getting a copy of your bot

Last match that caused ashy to ragequit we had a flyer that just went flying into the enemy teams spawn, kept dying and then a minute later went "Well we're doomed"
Meanwhile at the end we had a score of 16 kills vs their 20 kills, I racked up 10k+ healing and also did more damage than the pubbie from ocasionally using a proto seeker (low dps lockon weapon)
It was just incredibly stupid

Lowest tier sure you can heal nonstop but it's a tad too slow
medium tier will drain your energy if you're nonstop healing because your team is getting fucked
But if you just have to heal dudes up from 50% to 100 every 10 seconds or so you'll be absolutely fine
And constructors will heal someone from 50 to 100 in a second but you won't have any energy left afterwards to keep healing the ocassional damage

As you add CPU to your bot, the amount of total energy you can have decreases.
But it doesn't decrease at a fixed rate. The amount of trade off actually follows a bell curve, each marginal CPU costs more and more energy until you reach a halfway point, then the energy cost actually goes down with each added CPU.
