I don't really remember most of what happened back then other than bits and pieces I don't remember usernames of who all was there
I can draw a map of where it was and roughly how we had constructed and there were several stages of Detroit that we had on the goonion
also the french hackers in ecko(?) valley SE of the legacy hangars
they had some giant warehouse build in a large flat area just past the forest Southwest of resource hole
Detroit was primarily constructed in resource hole, walled off at the two entrances...and the mountain above and behind it was heavily trapped and walled off to the best of our ability. but it was virtually impossible to actually patrol it so we'd have snipers in it every so often causing problems but because Detroit was so terribly built no matter where you were you could find cover almost instantly
(edited)
we also extended walls (the old-school place foundation and then one wall on the outside with stairs and maybe windows on the second level up) North across the road to the rocks around zombie hill and then up until the radioactive area on the road between resource road and the hangers
and inside that walled off area we tried to keep it reasonably organized with streets and guard towers on the outer walls
there was a thunder Dome outside the walls to the West, ass haggis was the announcer
also at least two large wooden crosses that we would fill with fire pits and ignite all at once to create giant burning crosses and subsequently killing everybody's frame rate

the d2/austin lore from that era isn't super long, I could probably do like a brief paragraph on it
and then maybe a little more regarding the Pigeon origins

that was the second iteration of Detroit
the first one was just a failed goon city that was built before I even got there in resource hole and they called it Detroit because it was a collapsed and abandoned shithole populated with ferals and blacks
(edited)
(feral and black zombies)
when they had abandoned Detroit the first time they moved South beneath resource mountain into the rocky cliffs at the very bottom center of the map and built along and up onto the rocks going down towards the cliff leading to the water
once they wiped we rebuilt the proper Detroit (mk2) in resource hole
that's pretty much it to be honest other than the particulars of individual names it was just standard goonfucking back and forth, you had dryb, Kimsemus, rubbersucky and some other guy as "the monarchy" and they claimed most of the upper part of the map and were a big dick roving kill squad

The Monarchy existed even up until almost BMW
Because I remember around Fort Taylor on Goon Playground where dryb lived
