Garry's Mod (commonly abbreviated as GMod) is a sandbox physics game developed by w:Facepunch Studios and published by w:Valve Corporation. Garry's Mod was originally a mod created by Garry Newman for Valve's w:Half-Life 2 but was later made into a standalone release on 29 November 2006 for Microsoft Windows. Later updates saw an OS X port, added in 2010, and a Linux port in 2013.

In June of 2018 AlexanderDeLarge suggested that WTT host a vanilla (un-modded) for the newly announce BMW 3.0 and Game Night. The first game night was before the server was fully configured, so the Bimmers tried out a few near vanilla servers to see what the community was like. It was shit.
The next week, the Bimmer server was live, featuring a finely curated collection of maps by Alex featuring Lumbridge, Richland, and Despacito (Desperado). At first, the harpoon mod was installed, contrary to the claim of a 100% vanilla server, but after it didnt work, it was removed.
TTT remained a staple game for several months until the much dreaded football season approached, and Taylor abandoned everyone as he does every year. Alex, however, as the new admin in May of 2019, restarted the tradition on Sunday nights.
On May 27th 2019, Taylor decided to run a secondary experimental TTT server that would also be vanilla but run the Richland map all the time. After some early technical difficulties(i.e. map changing from Richland, Admin GUI not installed, Rounds resetting after every match), the server was running and gained traction quickly.

For a brief few weeks, Taylor, Peaches, and Jack spent some considerable time on GMod Cinema servers watching bad YouTube videos and anime while wearing waifu skins.
A WTT Cinema server was briefly considered, but the community is rather small, with enough dead servers as it is.
