Ventrilo is a VOIP program used throughout the WIDEVERSE as its primary mode of communication. It eventually fell out of favor due to Mumble, which itself eventually gave way to Discord

COMMUNISM Era

Ventrilo was long the defact voice option for most World of Warcraft groups in the mid to late aughts, as was Teamspeak. COMMUNISM exclusively used a Ventrilo hosted by Spaceballs. Maybe spin offs would later appear over the years, including several hosted by Shelarahn.
