WIDECRAFT is the official Minecraft server of The WIDEVERSE. It is a persistent server, meaning nothing will ever be wiped, reset, or lost.
Major Features
Persistent World
Utilizing Multiverse, WIDECRAFT will never have to wipe when new Minecraft updates come out. Instead, a new world will be generated specifically for that release, allowing players to experience the new content in a familiar setting.
New Weapons & Items
WIDECRAFT offers a multitude of new items to the game via datapacks and the official WIDECRAFT Resource Pack. WASDs Moar Bows & Swords, Magic Rings, and The Netherite Bow are just a few examples. See further down for a comprehensive list of Data Packs and how to access their content.
Portals & Warp Pads
Travel within WIDECRAFT has been simplified thanks to Multiverses Portals and WarpPads that are craftable by players. Beware, however: The warppads are not cheap to create, but well worth the trouble.
Quality of Life Improvements
Treecapitator, VeinMiner, Repairable Tridents, Better Wanders, Silk Touch Spawners, & Better Loot are just a few of the improvements WIDECRAFT makes to the vanilla game, allowing for a more seamless and less spergy experience.
In addition, WIDECRAFT is constantly finding and developing new solutions to create a better server.

Data Packs & How To Use Them
Moar Pickaxes
Moar Pickaxes gives you a choice of pickaxes, each suited to a different task, but some have drawbacks, so craft accordingly.
Moar Bows & Swords
Both datapacks add a variety of weapons to the game. Detailed instructions can be found at the respective sites for Moar Bows and Moar Swords
Moar Boots & Moar Totems
Moar Boots adds new boots to the game, each with different abilities and uses. Moar Totems expands on the original Totem of Undying, adding several new varieties that give the base version another use as a crafting material
The Netherite Bow
The most powerful bow in the game requiring rare resources and a special smelter. Information on how to attain the bow can be found on The Netherite Bows PlanetMinecraft page.
Furniture
WIDECRAFT currently has two different furniture packs: The first, Tables and Chairs adds....well, tables and chairs. The second, Furniture adds a wide assortment of items from basic chairs and couches to toilets and computers.
WarpPads
One of the best features of WIDECRAFT, WarpPads allows players to link their various builds and bases together using placeable warp points. See the Github page for more info, but be aware the top end version, while having infinite range, requires a Nether Star for each end.
Machines
Machines is an extremely basic version of what some may have experienced in modded Minecraft versions like Tekkit.
Server Info
WIDECRAFT runs PaperMC, a high performance fork of Spigot (itself a fork of the original Bukkit). In addition, the server runs many of the standard backend plugins such as WorldEdit, WorldGuard, & Dynmap as well as others. The server currently has a cap of 20 players, but is expected to be raised in 2022 when the server is moved to different hardware.
