A Meltdown Orange refers to ADLs slow descent into madness and eventually melty in the wake of the Fools Coup.
Background
AlexanderDeLarge was appointed as leader of WTT on March 1st 2019 along with Peaches. He had originally been reluctant to take the position, but accepted regardless. Within 2 months, Peaches had resigned and gone into hiatus, leaving Alex as the lone leader of the group. This sudden responsibility as well as compounding real life issues left him in an increasingly combative and mercurial mood, frequently getting into arguments with almost everyone over nothing and taking insane stances on political and social topics.
This all lead eventually to MOTHER forcing Alex out of his leadership position privately in April of 2020, while leaving him as a figurehead for the time being. Instead of easing his worries, his attitude quickly deteriorated even further, especially during the tumultuous year that was 2020
The Melty
His insanity hit a boiling point on July 13th of 2020, when during a food debate, began ranting about commercialization and colonization of the moon where he most famously proclaimed he didnt want to see "a Fuddruckers on the Moon". CST, as he does, worsened the situation by name calling Alex and telling him he should leave. Alex took this extremely personally, deleting his entire Discord message history and leaving the Discord.
Aftermath
ADL disappeared almost entirely, only rarely reaching out to people once in a blue moon to shill a game. His absence led to Taylor being forced back into leadership after his abdication over 2 and a half years prior.
He would return in March of 2023, where all was forgiven and forgotten.
