New Southland also refers to Southland Island itself, on which the manor and associated locations reside.
Southland Manor
Southland Manor is a renovated Woodland Mansion that also serves as the headquarters of the Southland Mining Corporation. New Southland and its surrounding facilities are referred to as "Central" by the SMC.

Southland Engineering, the construction based subsidiary of SMC, had its headquarters built in June 2020, deep under Southland Manor.
Research & Development Complex
Southland Engineering has 2 wings for research:
- Duplication research, including carpets and minecart tracks
- Ocean and Fish research with 2 large holding tanks for many types of fish and ocean life
Tram
In May of 2021, the massive undertaking of linking most of SMCs holdings across the continent was began. The tram was established in the event the WarpNet and NetherWay networks both went down, as has happened previously.
