Battle for SA Discord was a battle fought between the toolbags of BMW and the soyboy cucks of Serious Overchill in the Unofficial SA Discord.
Background
BMW became heavily involved with TT and the SA Discord before the launch of Conan Exiles when TT volunteered to host a Goon server for the game. A project was put together to port the game into Linux[1] headed by TT. As part of this effort, TT also promoted Conan and BMW in his Discord and made Taylor and Rejdukien mods. The Goon server never took off and Conan itself mostly died within a few months, but the Bimmers remained mods in the Discord and began helping TT to grow his community.
The Discord was similar to BMW in some ways but was still heavily inclined to Goon culture and the problems that come with it, as such, many people came to dislike Taylor, especially a fellow mod named FAT32 who ran a "rival" Discord called Serious Overchill, which was just like BMW if BMW injected soy directly into their balls then cut those balls off and got upset if you called them he again.
TT made several attempts to get his community for active, but mostly failed because he sucks at everything. BMW and SRS' relative successes however made him bitter towards the two leaders, especially Taylor. However, he made both admins in late 2017, which only led to more conflict.
Events of the War
Conflicts began in earnest when BMW intelligence discovered TT was plotting against Taylor and BMW. His bitterness at BMWs success had festered for months, especially as his own Discord died by the day. FAT seized on this opportunity and astroturfed efforts to get Taylor banned from the SomethingAwful forums. This was successful since its not hard to con a bunch of retarded mods that someones ~le ebil nazi~. However, the ban proved Taylor right (as usual) about the current state of the forums and by association the Discord.
Taylor and FAT sparred in admin chat over the next few months over several issues like restricting speech in the discord and Taylor mocking FATs beta userbase. TT eventually cucked and removed most the admins, including Taylor, to pursue a "new direction" with his co-admin IAmKale (who later quit of his own volition, leaving TT alone in a dead discord).
After the removal, wires got crossed and Prude decided to delete the Anime Discord, which angered TT so much that he for some reason put known pedophile, Scarybagels, as a mod, which made very little sense. TT later went back on this idea when he realized that maybe giving a platform to a kid toucher wasnt the best optics. TT rebuilt the anime discord but the damage was done and it became yet another dead discord under his name.
Aftermath
The battle essentially killed what was left of the SA Discord. Regardless of TTs intentions, he lost most his active users to SRS and BMW, lost most his admins due to the fallout, and was left with 2 empty discords. Known pedophile Scarybagels immigrated to SRS, and a few of the shitposters from the general channel came to BMW.
TT eventually abandoned the SA Discord. However, in early 2019, he began efforts to revitalize the discord by turning it into a "safe space".
