Tay Fan Discord

A Tay Fan Discord is a discord created either out of a rift or in some cases (see Westworld) a light argument between Taylor and members of BMW/WTT/BB. These discords are most distinguishable by their brief flash of activity from venting about Taylor and planning spite moves, followed by months of crushing depression after everyone gives up. Eventually, the Discords turn into barren wastelands that go months, sometimes years without posts. This creates long lasting divisions that never heal, due to the echo chamber effect and then the lack of resolution. Because of this, other than BEEFY BOYS, there has never been a wholesale reunion between members of a fan Discord and BMW.

History

The first known Tay Fan Discord, ironically, was the former COMMUNISM Discord (created by Taylor). After the 2nd COMMUNISM CIVIL WAR, Prude and a few other rebels chose to use the Discord as a base of operations, Taylor having given lead to Prude near a year prior. This lasted only a few months before both men reconciled, and the Discord fell into obscurity until years later when it was brought into BMW as the political discussion server.

The next Discord began not long after, and partially resulting from the 2nd Civil War. Westworld was created by G-Mach when Taylor restricted the use of message reactions after they were being used to harass members of BMW. The Discord saw little use outside of the occasional plotting against Taylor, such as discussing how to tank his World of Warcraft efforts and potential plans to move all of BMW there before Conan Exiles launch.

After the end of Rust and during The Great Slump of 2017, a few other nameless Discords popped up by Rust players and Conan players both who carried on playing the game outside of the BMW umbrella. A notable of these was Amalilakabs Discord, which began as his personal stream Discord, but after teaming up with The Sauce, was planned to be a BMW offshoot. However, given the nature of both men (undependable and schizophrenic), the project never took off in any capacity.

Another notable offshoot came after The Goose Migration, when a portion of SA oriented posters left WrongThink Tank after a massive meltdown against Prude. The offshoot itself later suffered an offshoot due to internal politics and the original Discord owner getting hellcucked.

Only a few months later, during the 3rd COMMUNISM CIVIL WAR, Wonkacord was created as an intended replacement to BMW. This was by far the most successful of the Tay Fan Discords, being briefly more popular than BMW itself for a brief month before the admins began chasing off the members. By the time of The Sauce Affair, the Discord was mostly dead outside of voice, and as of December 2020, had not seen posts in months. The Sauce Affair also resulted in a multitude of Discords created by The Sauce that died within days, as people came to understand the depth of his mental breakdown.

After The Night of Long Steak Knives and the banning of BEEFY BOYS, DankRegice created a replacement server, inviting many of the BEEFSTERS into it during the post-shoah confusion. He was quickly banned and the Discord died just as quick.

SCEMA, despite being created and maintained by Prude, is considered a Tay Fan Discord, as well as an emerging genre of "Tony Fan Discords".
