As with all Bimmies after 2019, production began immediately after the previous years Bimmies with a rough outline of nominations being compiled and curated through the year. A new addition however, was a brief user submitted nomination period to weed out bad picks and get community suggestions. | |||
In March of 2020, [[Pigeon]] was picked to host the Bimmies, marking the first hosting change in Bimmies history. However, in late November, Pigeon backed out due to privacy concerns (despite staring in countless BMW and COMMUNISM videos in years past). The agreement was terminated and The Bimmies COmmittee was forced at last minute to change production back to Taylor hosting. Due to this and multiple production errors, the pretaped format was scrapped and replaced with a watered down live version that aired on Christmas Eve Night at 830PM. The show featured Taylor reading winners live and getting their speeches from Discord voice chat. | |||
