Dr. Coathanger (More simply known usually as Coathanger, Coat, or just Doc) is a member of SIDEBOYS and the sole remaining member of WIDEVANIA. He is married to Kanae (God help him).

History

Coat, along with his friend Alt, both joined WTT during the 2018 Summer Rapefugee Crisis that saw many Goons joining WTT due to rising conflicts regarding politics. The two had come from the Guild Wars 2 server, Starfleet Dental, where they had recently been kicked out of. In fact, it was the incident that led to them being removed that led Prude to even notice them, sending them invites.

Close with The Wonkas, Coathanger fell into their coup during the Wonka Uprising, though doing the usual Canadian thing of "both sides have valid points". Years later though, he would admit Taylor was right and that he should have been more loyal to him.

Streaming Career

In late 2018, Coat began streaming, first on Twitch, then moving with Solgnir to Dlive where he met near immediate success

The Alt Transgression

Eventually, it was revealed (not almost nobodies shocked) that Alt was actually a dude and that Coat had been catfished the entire time.

As A VTuber

Eventually, after the boom in Vtubing, Doc commissioned a model of himself as a plague doctor and began his career as a Vtuber. In late 2021, he joined with Taylor to create WIDEVANIA, officially joining in a re-debut later that year.

However, when WIDEVANIA died not even a year later, he continued streaming as an indie.
